Job summary

The Laurel at Calera, a Sealy Management Company community in Calera, AL, is seeking an experienced Apartment Maintenance Technician to help prepare the community for its Fall/Winter 2026 Grand Opening. As the founding technician, you will set maintenance standards and ensure all homes meet quality requirements before residents move in.

• Minimum of three years of apartment maintenance experience.
• EPA Certification is required.

• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Valid driver's license.

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to assist in all maintenance operations at our newest luxury apartment community, The Laurel at Calera.

This position begins prior to the community's Fall/Winter 2026 Grand Opening, giving you the opportunity to help prepare the community for opening day and establish maintenance standards from the very beginning.

As the founding Maintenance Technician, you will:

• Prepare apartment homes and amenities for the first residents.
• Ensure every apartment home meets Sealy Management's quality standards before move-in.
• Build a maintenance culture centered on responsiveness, professionalism, and resident satisfaction.

Position Summary

The Maintenance Technician ensures the community is maintained to the highest standards. This role is responsible for preserving the property's appearance, functionality, safety, and long-term value.
