Job summary

Better Call Steve Plumbing is launching a new electrical division in South Florida and seeks licensed electricians to help build it from the ground up. You’ll bring the same honesty, quality, and customer care our plumbing customers expect, now applied to electrical work.

This on-site role includes competitive pay, a company vehicle with fuel card, health insurance options, PTO and holidays, plus opportunities to lead and certify new skills as the division grows.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida journeyman or master electrician license required.
• Minimum 3 years residential and/or commercial electrical experience.
• Thorough knowledge of NEC and Florida electrical codes.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Professional attitude with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs.
• Physical ability to work on ladders, attics, and in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues in residential and commercial properties.
• Perform panel upgrades, circuit installations, and whole-home rewiring.
• Install ceiling fans, lighting fixtures, outlets, and switches.
• Conduct electrical safety inspections and code compliance assessments.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Ensure all work meets NEC and local Florida electrical codes.
• Provide clear communication and honest pricing to customers.
