Job summary

Peregrine Technologies is building a scalable internal platform on the Business Technologies team. As a founding member, you will define how infrastructure is built, automated, and scaled across identity, SaaS, and cloud platforms.

You’ll work with IT, Security, and business teams to set architectural direction and deliver robust, scalable solutions rather than just respond to tickets. The role emphasizes an engineering-first approach: workflow automation, system integrations, and tooling to

Qualifications

• 10+ years in systems engineering, IT engineering, or a closely related infrastructure role with automation emphasis.
• Experience partnering with Finance, GTM, HR, Legal, or Security to translate business needs into scalable systems.
• Strong Python and scripting/automation experience; ability to write SQL.
• Experience with identity platforms (Okta, Entra ID, OneLogin, Auth0) including SSO/SCIM.
• MDM platforms like Jamf and/or Intune; policy management and automation.
• 2+ years in Microsoft 365 and Azure, AWS, or similar cloud/SaaS infra.
• Prior growth-stage company experience (Series B–D).
• Practical experience with LLMs and AI agents for IT workflows.
• Exposure to SOC 2, FedRAMP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build internal infrastructure, automation, and scalable platforms.
• Partner with IT, Security, and business teams to translate needs into system requirements.
• Set architectural direction and drive IaC, workflow automation, and integrations.
• Own platform issues from regular support escalation to long-term prevention.
