Job summary

Spokane Urology PS is forming a founding clinical team in Spokane Valley for an Interventional Radiology (IR) Registered Nurse. The role involves delivering high-quality procedural care, moderate sedation, and compassionate patient service in a state-of-the-art facility.

You will work with a top-tier group of physicians and specialists, ensuring patient safety and comfort while supporting onboarding and cross-training of colleagues.

Qualifications

• RN license and certification as required by state.
• BLS certification required, ACLS required.
• Certified Radiology Nurse preferred.
• Graduate of accredited nursing program, BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient and procedure room for radiology procedures per policies and regulations.
• Assist physician during procedures.
• Complete patient assessments and monitoring for procedures and post-care.
• Educate patient before tests and perform follow-up as needed.
• Start and maintain IV lines.
• Coordinate with health care team to assess and plan patient care.
• Safely administer moderate sedation/medications as ordered.
• Submit prescriptions and refills to pharmacies per clinician orders.
• Assist in onboarding or cross-training of team members.
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition.
• Prepare rooms, instruments, and supplies; maintain stock.
