Runtime Labs, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Founding Engineer, Infrastructure, to design and build core systems for Óra. You will own event storage, real-time sync, integrations, media pipelines, and scheduling primitives, shaping performance and reliability from day one.

This in-person role offers a salary between $150k and $200k, meaningful early equity, and a chance to establish the product's foundational infrastructure with a small founding team.

Responsibilities

• Build core infrastructure for events, timelines, notes, images, prompts, and integrations
• Design systems for reliability, performance, observability, and data integrity
• Develop backend primitives for time-indexed memory, scheduling, and contextual retrieval
• Build integrations with calendars, maps, authentication, storage, and future data sources
• Create internal tools, tests, and workflows that increase engineering velocity
• Work closely with product and design to make infrastructure decisions that directly shape the user experience
