Job summary

Phylo is hiring its first in-house Head of Talent to lead our recruiting function across business, scientific, and engineering roles. You will own the process end to end, define talent profiles, source exceptional candidates, and close offers directly with Phylo’s founders and hiring managers.

This hands-on role will build our employer brand, systems, and team to sustain growth. You will create rigorous interview loops, calibrate bar, and use AI and automation to scale impact.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in recruiting across business, science and engineering.
• Built recruiting processes, interview loops, and tools.
• Able to calibrate hiring manager expectations and maintain standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead hiring end to end across business, scientific, and engineering roles.
• Develop outbound pipelines and build relationships with top companies, labs, and universities.
• Create and own Phylo's recruiting operating system and reporting.
• Maintain rigorous standards and strong candidate experience.
• Scale the function with employer branding and selective recruiting tools.
