Qualifications

• MS/PhD in electrical engineering or closely related field.
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident.
• 10+ years of R&D and leadership in aerospace or high-reliability hardware.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary hardware teams.
• Proven success in government-funded programs (NASA/DoD).
• Strong executive communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead the U.S.-based Space PV Systems R&D organization—recruit, develop, and retain engineers and establish partnerships and facilities.
• Own the team's operating budget, capital equipment plan, and headcount plan; report to CTO.
• Represent the U.S. team within the global Space Solar Development organization; align priorities with global teams.
• Set and own the system-level architecture for PV modules and spacecraft interfaces; approve design decisions.
• Drive technology development from bench to qualification-ready hardware with milestones.
• Maintain awareness of competitive space PV developments and inform product strategy.
• Build collaborations with Georgia Tech, GTRI, NASA, DOE, and other partners.
