Job summary

Austinworks in San Francisco — an in-office early-stage startup — is seeking an early-career software engineer to ship real products in a fast-moving environment. You will own features end-to-end, spanning AI systems, backend services, and user interfaces for enterprise customers.

You'll work directly with founders to design solutions, deploy production systems, and iterate rapidly. 0–4 years experience and a drive to own outcomes are ideal in this role.

Our client is a YC-backed startup building AI agents that automate pricing and quoting workflows for complex manufacturers. Their platform helps companies manage massive product catalogs and operational data by turning slow, manual processes into fast AI-driven workflows.

They are looking for an early-career engineer who enjoys building real products and shipping quickly. Engineers on this team own features end-to-end, working across AI systems, backend services, and user-facing interfaces to deliver production software used by enterprise customers.

This is a high-ownership role on a small engineering team where your work will directly shape the product and the company.

What You'll Do
