Job summary

Vincer is seeking a Founding Software Engineer to own the production spine of a voice-first AI system. You will shape backend services, APIs, data flows, real-time communications, and infrastructure for enterprise life sciences customers.

You’ll join as one of the first two engineers, with strong ownership, fast decision-making, and a path to influence the product roadmap. The role requires Boston or NYC location and in-person collaboration in the early stages.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-time software engineering, building full-stack systems with backend, API, and platform orientation.
• Experience with real-time, streaming, or low-latency systems: voice, video, collaboration, gaming, or similar.
• You've owned cloud infrastructure end to end on a major provider.

Responsibilities

• Deliver real-time systems that make voice interactions fast, resilient, and natural in the field.
• Build the runtime behind a multi-agent system that acts on its own initiative: triggering, state, memory, and guardrails for safe enterprise use.
• Build the integration layer that connects Vincer to CRM (Veeva, Salesforce), Slack, Teams, and customer data APIs.
• Expand the backend services and cloud infrastructure behind live customer use, including observability, deployment, and reliability.
• Establish security and compliance posture for enterprise life sciences customers from day one.
