Job summary
Loft Orbital is hiring the founding developer of the Marketplace to take the platform from MVP to a scalable system used by dozens of partners. You will own features end-to-end and ship weekly, collaborating with the Director of Marketplace on a small, high-scope team.
The role covers building the storefront, backend APIs, and integrations with the mission platform, with strong emphasis on reliability, security, and rapid iteration.
Qualifications
- 4+ years shipping full-stack products.
- Experience with Sprint development ánd cloud-native stacks.
- Strong TS/React frontend and Python/Go/Node backend experience.
- Familiarity with OAuth and multi-tenant architectures.
Responsibilities
- Build the Marketplace storefront, partner portal, and admin tooling.
- Design and implement APIs and services: catalog, onboarding, entitlements, metering.
- Integrate with the mission platform for auth, workflows, and deployment.
- Create connectors for third-party constellations and data providers.
- Own quality: tests, CI/CD, monitoring.
