Job summary

xFigura is seeking a Founding Engineer to work directly with the CEO and Head of R&D on the core AI-native design platform used by leading architecture firms, designers, and universities in Boston. You will own end-to-end systems from concept through deployment, shaping architecture, and guiding technical direction.

Responsibilities include building scalable frontend/backend infrastructure, orchestrating AI workflows, and integrating with CAD ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Experience shipping full production systems end-to-end.
• Production experience with AI/ML systems.
• Highly effective use of AI development tools.
• Comfort operating with autonomy and ambiguity.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship features and systems end-to-end.
• Architect scalable frontend and backend infrastructure.
• Contribute to AI workflow orchestration pipelines.
• Develop canvas tooling and integrations with design software.
• Collaborate directly with users to translate workflows into systems.
• Ship quickly with iterative improvement.
