Job summary

Structured AI seeks an Architectural Design Engineer (Founding Team) to bridge architectural practice and frontier AI. You will translate floor plans, building envelopes, and codes into autonomous AI agents deployed to leading architecture firms.

You’ll work directly with the CTO and CPO, shipping checks and environments for real clients while owning the engagement from discovery to deployment.

Qualifications

• Trained Architect with deep design practice and understanding of building systems.
• Strong reading of codes (IBC/IRC), accessibility, zoning, life-safety.
• Experience translating architectural logic into algorithmic checks and AI-enabled workflows.
• Proficiency with design tools and code-based automation in real projects.
• Ability to ship features end-to-end and manage client relationships in a startup setting.
• Experience communicating with architects and contractors across project phases.

Responsibilities

• Encode architectural objects, plan logic, and code requirements into AI-ready patterns.
• Prototype and deploy QA/QC checks and agent workflows end-to-end in our codebase.
• Stand up client environments and tailor check suites for enterprise architecture practices.
• Generalize firm-specific logic into platform-wide checks benefiting all customers.
• Lead technical discovery and demos with top-tier firms, presenting to principals.
