Job summary

Golden Gate Recruiting is seeking a Founding Full Stack Engineer (Agentic Systems) to join an early team building AI that executes work. You will own architecture, outcomes, and directly engage with users to shape the product.

You will contribute across the stack, build the agent loop, integrate AI APIs, and design memories and reasoning systems to make the product useful from day one. This is a remote-friendly, early-stage role with high ownership.

Qualifications

• Strong CS fundamentals with a backend focus.
• Comfortable across the full stack, front to back, with no handoffs.
• Mobile experience with React Native or similar.
• Solid grasp of system design, APIs, and scalable architecture.
• Comfortable talking to customers and translating feedback into technical fixes.
• Uses AI tooling daily with strong independent engineering judgment.
• Has shipped production software others depend on.
• Bias for action and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Own backend architecture and core system design end to end.
• Contribute across the full stack, web and mobile.
• Build the core agent loop: diagnose, recommend, act, follow up.
• Integrate AI APIs and external tools such as email, SMS, calendars, and CRMs.
• Design the memory and reasoning layer for day-30 usefulness.
• Build reliability and safety guardrails around automated actions.
• Sit in on customer calls and read support threads to guide development.
• Ship fast, iterate quickly, and prioritize real user impact.
