Job summary

Dex is seeking a Founding Full-Stack Engineer in San Francisco to architect decision intelligence for AI agents used in manufacturing operations. You will own algorithms, architecture, and infrastructure, shipping end-to-end features with direct customer interaction and minimal product management abstraction.

You will build scalable, data-driven systems across the stack, work directly with customers, and help lay the foundation for a rapidly growing engineering team in a demanding, onsite role.

Qualifications

• Shipped production code end-to-end across backend and frontend components.
• Experienced with data-intensive, multi-tenant systems using PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Strong product sense with ability to engage directly with customers daily.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core algorithms and architecture for AI agents.
• Build and own end-to-end features from backend to customer-facing interfaces.
• Develop scalable, interpretable data-driven agents across stack (algorithms, architecture, infra).
• Work directly with manufacturing customers to deploy solutions saving millions.
• Lay foundational systems and infrastructure for a growing engineering team.
