Job summary

Jampack AI in Brooklyn, NY is hiring a Founding Full Stack Engineer to own the core platform powering its AI agents and customer experience. The moat isn't the model — it’s the scaffolding: the software infrastructure that connects AI to real-world systems (ERPs, 3PLs, retailers, freight partners) with real-world reliability.

The role offers hands-on ownership, rapid production delivery, and collaboration with the two co-founders in a fast-paced seed-stage environment.

Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of software engineering experience, ideally including time at a high-agency startup where you owned product work end-to-end.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, the core stack at Jampack
• Postgres for data modeling and query performance
• Full-stack capability, including React for customer-facing product surfaces
• Comfortable with event-driven patterns — webhooks, async workflows, integrations that keep external systems in sync

Responsibilities

• Take customer-facing features from concept to production — talk to users, design the solution, build it, watch them use it
• Design secure, auditable data models and event-driven pipelines that power AI agent workflows
• Develop internal and external APIs and a real-time operator console giving customers full visibility into their operations
• Build first-party integrations with ERPs, 3PLs, retailers, and freight partners, plus a resilient sync layer that keeps everything in lockstep
• Establish observability, SLOs, and on-call practices for mission-critical workflows
• Work across the full stack — backend, data engineering, and frontend — wherever the highest-leverage problem lives
