Job summary

H Company is seeking a Founding Forward Deployed Engineer to join the AI research and product team. You will design and deploy agentic AI solutions, integrating with customer systems and APIs, and driving end-to-end delivery in early-stage deployments.

The role requires 3+ years in AI and software engineering, strong Python and TypeScript skills, and excellent communication for customer-facing work. We welcome travel for on-site engagements and offer equity as part of a founding team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional AI + software engineering experience.
• Experience with AI/ML systems and integrating LLMs into products.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with TypeScript.
• Experience building production APIs, services and data pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving and customer-facing abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Identify and automate the customer's most impactful multi-step tasks.
• Integrate with customer systems, databases and APIs.
• Iterate in the field with fast feedback loops to improve product fit.
• Architect, build, and maintain scalable production services.
• Collaborate with product, research and engineering to shape the roadmap.
