Job summary

Huzzle is seeking a highly hands-on Founding Fintech Engineer – Banking & Payments to architect and build a neobank-style platform. You will work directly with founders to implement banking integrations, multi-currency payments, and robust financial APIs, with end-to-end ownership from design through production.

This is a rare 0→1 opportunity in a fully remote setting, with substantial influence over technology choices and platform direction, joining an already profitable fintech ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 3–8+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend or full-stack fundamentals.
• Strong hands-on experience building production-grade APIs, backend services, and distributed systems.
• Experience with complex financial infrastructure and data integrity is critical.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build core financial infrastructure (accounts, ledgers, KYC/KYB, reconciliation).
• Integrate with banking partners, card issuers, payment rails (ACH, wires, FX).
• Develop provider-agnostic architecture for multiple banks/partners.
• Build secure financial APIs and data models for money movement workflows.
• Create asynchronous systems with queues, retries, idempotency, and fault handling.
• Own end-to-end features from architecture to production operation.
