Advatix Inc. is seeking a founding Forward-Deployed Engineer to join our Information Technology team in a hybrid NYC or SF role. You will embed with detectives, analysts, and prosecutors to observe workflows and deploy a platform that transcribes, searches, and analyzes digital evidence.

You will ship full-stack features using Python, TypeScript, React, and AI/ML APIs, travel 25-75% to customer sites, and help shape the product roadmap while owning deployments end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience shipping production features across the stack.
• Strong proficiency in Python and a modern frontend stack (TypeScript/React).
• Experience building on top of AI/ML APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar).
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Embed with detectives, analysts, and prosecutors to observe workflows and deploy Closure's platform.
• Travel 25-75% to customer sites across the United States.
• Ship full-stack features using Python, React, TypeScript, and AI/ML APIs.
• Own pilots end-to-end, from deployments to training sessions and rollouts.
