Job summary

Alldus is seeking a Forward Deployed Engineer to join our client, a venture-backed AI startup, in New York or San Francisco. You will partner with customers to understand operational needs, develop tailored technical solutions, and guide platform improvements.

You will engage with customers on-site and remotely, build and deploy software to address investigative and evidence management challenges, and translate feedback into actionable development work.

The successful candidate will partner with customers to understand their operational needs, develop tailored technical solutions and use their feedback to guide platform improvements.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers remotely and on-site to understand their workflows, operational challenges and technical needs.

• Build and deploy software that helps users overcome investigative and evidence management challenges.

• Develop tailored integrations, analyses and tools to meet specific customer requirements.

• Translate user problems into practical, working software solutions.

• Convert customer feedback into code improvements, product recommendations and actionable development requirements.

• Partner with engineering colleagues to inform product priorities and improve platform capabilities.

• Own technical delivery from initial discovery through implementation and ongoing refinement.

• Travel to customer sites as required, accounting for approximately 25-75% of the role.
