Job summary

Kenkotech Futures Limited is seeking a founding engineer to turn cutting-edge research into software for clinicians, researchers and pharma teams. This fully remote role lets you own the build from ground up, including backend infrastructure, model endpoints, APIs, deployment and polished user interfaces.

Fully Remote

The models exist. Now build the products that bring them into medicine.

I’m partnering with an open-source medical foundation model lab, looking for a founding engineer to turn cutting-edge research into software clinicians, researchers and pharma teams can use.

You’ll own the build from the ground up: backend infrastructure, model endpoints, APIs, deployment and polished user interfaces. You’ll work directly with researchers and clinicians, with real influence over the architecture and product direction.

I’d love to hear from engineers who have:

• Built and shipped products from 0→1 in a startup
• Strong backend engineering skills and the ability to deliver across the full stack
• Taken AI models, LLM applications or research prototypes into production
• Owned the details that make products reliable: auth, data isolation, observability, security and performance

Experience at a foundation model lab, AI infrastructure company or AI-native startup would be particularly relevant. Healthcare or life sciences experience is a bonus.
