Treseder AI is hiring our first engineer to deploy ReliaPlay across pilot customers. ReliaPlay enables real-time video on robots and drones over degraded networks. You will bridge ReliaPlay’s FEC core with customer hardware, focusing on video pipeline integration, release packaging, and deployment support.
You will own deployment architecture and help shape how we test, deploy, and support the product from the ground up as the first engineer on the team.
We are hiring our first engineer to deploy our core product, ReliaPlay, across a growing set of pilot customers. ReliaPlay enables smooth real-time video communication for robots and drones over degraded networks. You will work on the layer between ReliaPlay's forward error correction (FEC) core and the customer's hardware, focusing on video pipeline integration, release packaging, and deployment support.
Customers bring combinations of hardware, software, and network environments, and getting ReliaPlay integrated across all of them is the core engineering challenge. Some weeks you are diagnosing a video pipeline on an unfamiliar embedded platform. Other weeks you are building the installer that makes that work unnecessary for the next customer.
You will have real ownership over the product's deployment architecture and as our first engineer, you'll help shape how we refine, test, deploy, and support the product from the ground up.
ReliaPlay is built on a patented FEC algorithm that is field-deployed. The engineering problems are pushing the boundaries in this space and involve latency-sensitive video pipelines, multi-platform release engineering across Jetson, Raspberry Pi, Android, etc., and field debugging on systems where packet loss is a fact of life.
The role provides technical ownership and customer-facing deployment experience. You'll have room to make decisions, try things, and see results quickly. The work involves hard problems with real stakes, with impact you'll see in the field. This is a chance to join on the ground floor as the first hire helping to build our engineering foundation.
Treseder AI is solving one of the most persistent problems in robotics, drones, and other unmanned systems: video that freezes or times out waiting for retransmits once a link starts experiencing packet loss. Packet loss is commonplace across SATCOM, mesh radios, and cellular links, leading to frozen frames during teleoperation, delayed inference at the edge, and degraded situational awareness when it matters most.
Our core product, ReliaPlay, recovers from packet loss with better bandwidth efficiency than conventional alternatives, delivering 10.9x fewer video freeze events with configurable tail latency. ReliaPlay is live with pilot customers across defense and physical AI and is pushing the frontier of communication quality.
$120,000–$140,000 base salary plus 0.5%–1.5% equity, with final compensation determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
