Qualifications

• 2+ years veterinary hospital experience preferred.
• Experience in Emergency, Critical Care, Specialty Medicine, Surgery, or high-volume General Practice.
• Strong foundation in veterinary nursing, patient monitoring, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, medication administration, anesthesia monitoring, and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing support for emergency/critical patients.
• Triage cases and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications via IV, IM, SQ.
• Manage fluids, CRIs, and blood product administration.
• Assist with diagnostic testing and imaging.
• Support sedation, anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate medical records and patient documentation.
• Collaborate with veterinarians and specialty teams to ensure efficient patient flow.
