Job summary

Beloit College invites applications for a founding core faculty member who will also serve as Director of Clinical Training for the new MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (CMHC) program. This 12‑month faculty role combines teaching, advising, scholarship, and a lead in clinical coordination.

The appointee will build practicum/internship partnerships, supervise site supervisors, and advance CACREP standards while supporting social justice and community-focused training in a liberal arts

Qualifications

• CACREP core faculty requirements met
• Master's or doctoral preparation in counseling or related field with CACREP alignment
• Experience in clinical coordination and site partnerships preferred

Responsibilities

• Coordinate practicum and internship experiences across CMHC
• Establish and maintain clinical site partnerships and affiliation agreements
• Recruit, orient, and evaluate site supervisors and provide supervisor training
• Manage student placement, documentation, and regulatory compliance
• Coordinate gatekeeping and progress monitoring for field experiences
• Teach CMHC curriculum and provide clinical supervision
• Contribute to accreditation and program evaluation
