Job summary

Sailor Health, Inc. is hiring its first Founding Data & Analytics Engineer to architect and scale Sailor’s data foundation.

You’ll build pipelines powering clinical insights and AI copilots, working closely with co-founders, clinicians, and engineers to turn data into care decisions. This ground-floor role offers the chance to design data models for patient outcomes, automate operations, and craft an AI-first analytics stack from scratch, in a fast-growing healthcare startup with strong PMF.

Qualifications

• 3–10 years of data engineering or analytics experience.
• Fluent in SQL and Python; strong data modeling skills.
• Experience with dbt, Snowflake, GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Ability to communicate clearly with non-technical teammates.
• High EQ and collaboration with clinicians and founders.

Responsibilities

• Create data-powered web apps to solve tangible business problems.
• Build pipelines in Snowflake and dbt that unify data from multiple systems.
• Develop AI and ML-driven analyses of transcripts and patient data.
• Automate backend operations with Python scripts for workflows.
• Track and visualize clinical outcomes (PHQ-9, GAD-7, etc.).
• Collaborate cross-functionally with clinicians and founders to turn data into action.
• Build long-term horizon data architectures that scale with growth.
