Job summary

Counsel Health is hiring a Founding Data Analyst to join our FinOps team and build the data foundation that powers Counsel's growth. This early-stage, high-impact role spans data wrangling, pipeline development, and defining core metrics across Commercial/GTM, Finance, Clinical Ops, and Operations.

You will work with our SVP, Finance & Operations and partner across teams to deliver scalable data solutions, dashboards, and AI-powered workflows that reduce manual work and enable faster

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field and programming experience.
3-5 years in a data, analytics, or finance/ops role.
Strong SQL and Python; ability to work with messy data.
Executive presence for cross-functional discussions.
Genuinely curious about AI tools and automating workflows.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain the data foundation powering the entire company.
Support the data needs of stakeholders across product, commercial, finance, and operations.
Build the Operating Scorecard and dashboards for visibility on business performance.
Partner with Analytics Engineer to validate pipelines and metric definitions.
Turn messy datasets into actionable insights.
Build and adopt AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate FinOps.
