Job summary

Counsel Health is building the data backbone to scale AI-enabled healthcare. As Founding Data Analyst on the FinOps team, you’ll own data wrangling, pipeline development, and core metrics that drive growth and efficiency.

You’ll partner with the SVP, Finance & Operations and collaborate across Commercial/GTM, Finance, Clinical Ops, and Operations, shaping reporting and cross-functional analytics to support scaling and strategic decisions.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (CS, statistics, applied math, or similar).
3–5 years in data, analytics, or finance/ops role.
Proficient in SQL and Python or similar language.
Comfort with messy data and desire to uncover truth.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain the data foundation powering the company.
Support data needs of stakeholders across all functions (product metrics, reporting, finance/ops).
Create the Operating Scorecard and dashboards for visibility of performance.
Collaborate with Analytics Engineer to validate pipelines and metrics definitions.
Turn messy datasets into actionable insights.
Develop AI-powered tools and workflows to speed up FinOps.
