Job summary

Dynamism is seeking a Founding Engineering Lead in New York. You will join a small, fast-moving team to build the operating layer that helps cities care for roads people use daily.

Location is New York with 4 days in person; the role is full time with a base salary of $200K to $300K plus equity. You will take problems from first conversations to shipped software, define architecture, data models, releases and production outcomes, and work closely with the founder.

• Founded or helped found a technical product and still enjoy coding.

Responsibilities

• Take customer problems from first conversation to shipped software.
• Decide product direction, architecture, interfaces, data model, releases and production outcomes.
• Set quality thresholds and human-review paths for imperfect inputs.
• Own production outcomes and help shape the growing team.
• Work with React, TypeScript, Mapbox, Express, and geospatial data layer.
