Job summary

Moritz is seeking a licensed attorney to lead our US commercial and corporate legal work in San Francisco. You will draft, review, and negotiate MSAs and core contracts, shape product strategy from a legal lens, and design scalable workflows to support growth.

This role requires 4+ years in commercial/contracts law, a JD, and willingness to work in the SF office. Ideal candidates will drive go-to-market initiatives with a startup mindset, have a strong interest in AI and legal tech, and reside

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with commercial/contracts law at a leading law firm or in-house at a major tech company or growth startup.
• Deep experience drafting and negotiating contracts and MSAs.
• JD and active license to practice law in NYC or SF (non negotiable requirement).
• Based in, or willing to move to, San Francisco.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and excitement about building something new.
• Genuine interest in innovation, AI, and legal tech.
• Comfort operating in a fast-paced, early-stage startup environment.
• Reside in SF/Bay-area and ready to work 5 days a week in office.

Responsibilities

Compensation: $ 180K-250K + equity.
