Job description

We’re hiring a senior commercial contracts attorney (4–15 years of experience) to serve as both a client-facing legal advisor and a core contributor to our platform. You’ll operate across a broad range of commercial contracting work, with deep exposure to confidentiality agreements, services and technology agreements, reliance and engagement letters, and event agreements. In parallel, you’ll work closely with engineering and product to translate legal expertise into scalable workflows, playbooks, and platform features. This role is best suited for a business-minded attorney who has strong judgment, is a strong team player, is comfortable owning sophisticated client relationships, and is excited about rethinking how legal services are built and delivered.

  • Draft, review and negotiate technology agreements such as SaaS, PaaS, and AI licensing agreements, along with terms of service and privacy policies

  • Collaborate with product and engineering to translate legal workflows into platform features
  • Contribute to the constant improvement of scalable, repeatable legal processes
  • Support and mentor junior attorneys and contract managers
  • Maintain professional, high-quality standards while operating in a fast-paced, tech-enabled environment

Qualifications:

  • JD and active membership in the California or Colorado Bar (or eligibility to register as in-house counsel)
  • 4–15 years of experience at a law firm or in-house legal team focused on commercial transactions
