Job summary

Clera is building an enterprise context layer to make AI agents reliable, accurate, and secure for critical operations. We seek a founding Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to design, build, and own the cloud infra powering our semantic platform, a greenfield role with major architectural impact.

You will own infrastructure decisions end-to-end, establish standards, and drive CI/CD pipelines and security across a production-grade stack.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and operating cloud infrastructure in production
• Hands-on with IaC tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
• Experience architecting and managing Kubernetes clusters in production
• Deep experience with a major cloud platform (AWS/GCP/Azure) incl. networking, storage, compute
• CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Observability/logging using Prometheus, ELK, Datadog, or New Relic
• Knowledge of security, networking, and access-control implementations
• Comfort operating in early-stage environments, setting standards rather than following playbooks

Responsibilities

• Design and build cloud infrastructure from the ground up for a production-grade semantic AI platform
• Own full lifecycle of infra decisions from architecture to deployment and scaling
• Make foundational cloud choices with long-term impact
• Establish standards, tooling, and processes in a greenfield environment
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation
• Implement infrastructure monitoring, observability, and logging
• Design database infrastructure across relational and NoSQL systems at scale
• Implement security, networking, and access-control frameworks
