Job summary

Optexity is building a clinical AI assistant embedded in real practice settings. This role partners with physicians across internal medicine, cardiology, oncology to shape how the assistant surfaces care gaps, flags risks, and summarizes pre-visit context.

You will define criteria, judge model outputs, build ground truth, and help publish benchmarks. Remote collaboration, part-time or full-time options, visa sponsorship for full-time, and direct influence on product in everyday clinics.

Qualifications

• MD or DO, board-certified or board-eligible.
• Active clinical practice; current context matters.
• Extensive EMR experience with major systems (Epic/eCW/Athena/ModMed).
• Strong interest in AI in medicine and willingness to discuss failure modes.

Responsibilities

• Define what the assistant should surface in clinics.
• Shape the pre-visit summary content and length.
• Specify clinical search criteria from the chart.
• Judge model outputs, score gaps, and explain decisions.
• Help build ground-truth evaluation sets and rubrics.
• Contribute to publications and benchmarks.
