We have already signed meaningful enterprise customers and generated the majority of our commercial traction organically. We are now beginning to build a repeatable outbound growth engine and are looking for a group of Founding BDRs to help build it from the ground up.
As a Founding Business Development Representative, you will be one of the first members of AdsGency’s outbound GTM organization.
This is not a traditional BDR role where you inherit a finished ICP, messaging library, prospect list, and sales playbook.
You will help build them.
You will identify high-potential customers, research accounts, develop outbound strategies, test messaging, engage decision-makers, qualify opportunities, and create pipeline for AdsGency’s enterprise business.
You will work directly with the founders and GTM leadership and have significant influence over how we build and scale sales.
We are looking for people who are competitive, analytical, resourceful, highly organized, comfortable with rejection, and motivated by measurable outcomes.
Identify and engage high-potential companies that could benefit from AdsGency. Build targeted account lists and continuously improve prospecting based on conversion data and customer feedback.
Run high-quality outbound across email, LinkedIn, phone, events, communities, referrals, and other relevant channels. Your job is not simply to maximize outreach volume — it is to create qualified commercial conversations.
Understand each prospect’s business model, advertising strategy, growth stage, likely advertising channels, potential pain points, and relevant AdsGency use cases before outreach.
Build relationships with founders, CMOs, Heads of Growth, VPs of Marketing, performance marketing leaders, agency executives, and other relevant decision-makers.
Determine whether prospects have meaningful advertising needs, budget, urgency, decision-making authority, and a use case that AdsGency can realistically solve.
Develop and test different outbound messages, value propositions, customer segments, industries, personas, and channels. Measure what works and rapidly iterate.
Work directly with founders and senior team members to prepare discovery calls, demos, proposals, follow-ups, and account strategies for high-value opportunities.
Maintain persistent, professional follow-up across opportunities. Ensure promising accounts do not disappear simply because a prospect did not respond to the first few touches.
Keep prospect, activity, qualification, meeting, opportunity, and follow-up data accurate and current. If it is not in the CRM, it did not happen.
Document successful ICPs, personas, messaging, objections, sequences, qualification criteria, channels, and processes so successful experiments can become repeatable systems.
Identify recurring objections, competitor mentions, pricing feedback, product gaps, customer needs, and market patterns and communicate them clearly to product, sales, and leadership.
You will be measured primarily on quality pipeline creation, not vanity activity metrics.
Key performance indicators may include:
Sending more emails does not automatically mean performing better.
We care about whether your work creates real customers and revenue.
You will probably do well at AdsGency if you think:
“Give me a market and a product and I’ll figure out how to create opportunities.”
rather than:
“Give me a list, a script, and tell me how many calls to make.”
We expect Founding BDRs to think critically about who they target, why that customer should care, what message is likely to resonate, and what they learn from every interaction.
You should be comfortable testing an approach, discovering that it does not work, changing it quickly, and documenting what you learned.
