Bennett College in Greensboro, NC invites applications for a full-time Founding Program Director for the Bachelor of Science in Public Health (BSPH). The successful candidate will provide academic leadership, teach core public health courses, support curriculum implementation, and build partnerships to advance health equity and Black women's health.

Rank commensurate with qualifications; seeking DrPH/PhD in public health or related field, with 1–2 years teaching, and expertise in health equity,

Qualifications

• Required: DrPH or PhD in public health, epidemiology, health education, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach undergraduate public health courses; minimum 1–2 years teaching experience.
• Expertise in at least one area: community health, health policy, epidemiology, health education, or CHES-aligned curriculum development.
• Commitment to student mentoring, inclusive pedagogy, and mission-centered education.

Responsabilités

• Provide academic and administrative leadership for the BSPH program, including curriculum implementation and assessment.
• Teach undergraduate public health courses within the core curriculum.
• Advise and mentor students and support practicum and capstone experiences.
• Coordinate with adjunct faculty to ensure learning outcomes and student experience across the curriculum.
• Build and sustain community partnerships for practica and career pathways.
• Contribute to accreditation readiness and competency mapping.
• Attend faculty meetings and participate in college governance and program development.
• Develop a research program and engage with professional development and literature.
