CoffeeSpace is hiring a Founding Engineer to shape our backend infrastructure and APIs that power AI agents. You will own projects from inception to deployment, working across the stack in a backend-centric role.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of backend engineering experience; preferred background at FAANG or high-growth startups.
• Proven track record of building projects from scratch.
• Experience with TypeScript, REST APIs, distributed systems, and cloud infrastructure.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, early-stage environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and build APIs and backend systems for AI agent communication and operation.
• Lead 0→1 projects, from customer requirements to production rollout.
• Engage with distributed systems, databases, and developer tooling.
• Propose and implement growth experiments and product ideas.
• Support enterprise customers with custom deployments when necessary.
• Maintain code quality and technical documentation while processing large volumes of emails.
