Job summary

City of Plant City is seeking the founding attorney for a new Arizona-law firm operating under the ABS program. You will shape the firm and licensing process during a 7-9 month review, then lead with a pipeline already built.

This is a ground-floor opportunity for someone to stay through the licensing phase and help scale the practice. The role combines a retainer for compliance with per-matter compensation, equity participation, and profit sharing.

Qualifications

• Licensed by the State Bar of Arizona and in good standing.
• Probate and estate planning depth (wills, trusts) and comfort with business formation.
• Enthusiastic about using AI and technology to handle high volume.

Responsibilities

• Own the ethics framework, quality bar, and sign-off gate as compliance counsel while carrying a caseload as producing attorney.
• Work with founders on business, marketing, capital, and technology; contribute legal judgment and matter intake.
