Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology.
• BOC Athletic Trainer Certification required; Illinois licensure required or ability to obtain prior to employment.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications required; CSCS preferred.
• Athletic training experience in high school, collegiate, or sports-medicine setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the school's athletic training and fitness programs and oversee gym, fitness center, weight room, and related facilities.
• Provide injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, rehabilitation, and emergency care for student‑athletes.
• Develop systems and policies to support athletic excellence and student wellbeing.
• Supervise students in the gym and fitness activities; coordinate with coaches and health staff.
