Job summary

Amazon is seeking an Applied Scientist to join the Leo Infrastructure and IP Security team as a founding scientist. You will drive the science behind a neurosymbolic reasoning platform, building models that detect sophisticated threat actors and protect the Leo constellation’s global ground infrastructure.

This is an R&D role with a production mandate, where you define problems and deliver models, detections, and agent workflows used by security teams to defend the system.

Responsibilities

• Develop neurosymbolic reasoning models for threat detection.
• Build production-grade defense models and analytics for Leo Infrastructure and IP Security.
• Collaborate with R&D and security teams to define and implement experiments.
