Job summary

Emploive in San Francisco is seeking a generalist software engineer to build the systems that turn improving models into capable AI agents and ship the product around them.

You’ll work on agent harnesses, context layers, memory, evals, and data infrastructure, connecting with security tools, ClickHouse, APIs, and internal tooling. You will own features across UI, backend, and runtime.

Qualifications

• Solid fundamentals in software Construction and debugging.
• Ability to move across unfamiliar parts of a codebase with ease.
• Experience using AI tooling and building reliable systems.

Responsibilities

• Build agent harnesses and improve execution loops with safe controls.
• Develop context layers, memory, and data retrieval for long investigations.
• Create evals and feedback loops to measure improvements.
• Provide data infrastructure access to security tools and data through ClickHouse and APIs.
• Own features across UI, backend, and runtime for the product around agents.
