Job summary

Clera is building the intelligence layer for an AI-powered recruiting marketplace. You will own the systems that match candidates with roles, from early design through to production, shipping features rapidly and iterating on measurable outcomes.

You will design and deploy end-to-end recommendation, ranking, and retrieval systems, plus data pipelines and backend services supporting production models. Collaboration with leadership will translate goals into scalable software.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience building and shipping end-to-end software features in production.
• Production experience with recommendation systems, ranking algorithms, or ML-powered matching.
• Experience shipping ML models or ML-powered products to users with hands-on work in PyTorch, TensorFlow, or equivalent frameworks.
• Proficiency in TypeScript or Python and experience building production features with LLM APIs.
• Experience maintaining production data pipelines and services, ideally in a fast-moving startup environment.
• Strong CS fundamentals; React, embeddings, vector search, Supabase, Prisma, Typesense, or workflow automation tools are helpful.

Responsibilities

• Design and build recommendation, ranking, and retrieval systems for candidate-role matching.
• Develop LLM-powered features and improve matching quality using measurable outcomes.
• Take product features from problem definition to production, shipping at a rapid cadence.
• Build and maintain the data pipelines and backend services that support production models.
• Work with company leadership to translate product goals into working systems.
