Job summary

Mason is seeking an engineer to take a customer's operational problem and turn it into software used daily. This forward-deployed role works directly with customers, learns their data, and builds the agents, integrations, and applications that change how they operate.

You own work from the first conversation through production and ongoing improvement, sit with operators and IT, make architecture decisions, write code, and translate learnings into reusable tools and product improvements.

Qualifications

• Four+ years of software engineering experience shipping production systems.
• Strong backend or full-stack development skills.
• Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Comfort working directly with customers.
• Ability to define success, manage scope, and tradeoffs while staying accountable.

Responsibilities

• Turn customer problems into production-ready software.
• Own work from discovery to production and ongoing improvement.
• Collaborate with operators, IT, and executives.
• Build agents, integrations, and applications end-to-end.
• Create reusable tools and deployment patterns.
• Debug, monitor, and improve deployments using feedback.
