Job summary

Clera is hiring its first senior AI engineer in San Francisco to own the quality and intelligence of multi-channel marketing agents. You will shape the agent architecture, evaluation systems, and learning loops, and help build the AI team as the company grows.

You will improve agent output and content quality, boost SEO performance, and build feedback loops from real-world outcomes. You will own AI infrastructure and lead the team as Clera scales.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of production ML/AI experience, shipping LLM products or agents.
• Experience designing evaluation systems and learning from outcome signals at scale (search/ranking/recommendations).
• Strong TS (Next.js) and Python for end-to-end products, data analysis, and model work.

Responsibilities

• Improve agent output and content quality across channels; make quality measurable.
• Enhance SEO and generative engine optimization performance.
• Build feedback loops for learning from real-world outcomes and signals.
• Own and improve AI infrastructure, agent architecture, model strategy, and data pipelines.
• Help hire and lead the AI team as the organization grows.
