Job summary

Forgepoint is building AI agents to automate the $3 trillion American manufacturing back office. As a Founding Engineer you will ship core AI features, integrate with legacy ERP systems, and architect TypeScript services while visiting shop floors and owning the product lifecycle from 0 to 1.

You'll collaborate directly with the CEO and CTO, work on a tight founding team in NYC, and turn ambitious ideas into scalable software that touches manufacturing data across the US.

Qualifications

• 2-8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in full-stack TypeScript (React and Node.js).
• High ownership mindset and ability to drive product requirements from conception to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement core AI-driven features using LLMs to automate manufacturing workflows.
• Architect and scale distributed services while integrating with legacy ERP/CRM systems.
• Collaborate with customers on shop floors across the USA to prototype, test, and iterate on features.
