Job summary

Clera Labs, Inc. is founding an engineering team to build AI-powered systems that streamline how businesses obtain insurance.

You’ll work directly with the founder to craft core AI solutions including agents, voice interfaces, and end-to-end pipelines for underwriting and submission. You will contribute across a broad tech stack, with emphasis on Python/TypeScript, LangGraph, and AWS, in a fast-moving startup environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 0–5 years of software engineering experience, including recent graduates.
• Strong fundamentals in systems design, clean code, and debugging.
• Hands-on experience building production LLM, AI agent, or voice AI systems with evaluation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Build browser-use agents that automate insurance workflows.
• Develop voice AI for conversations with clients and insurance carriers.
• Create long-horizon LLM pipelines and evaluation frameworks.
• Build carrier integrations and AI-powered quoting and submission workflows.
• Develop agents for policy analysis and insurance document processing.
• Own systems end-to-end, contributing across a broad range of technical work.
