We are partnering with a company that is building an AI agent to automate audits, already working with 10+ public companies, and recently closed funding. We automate the last mile of financial and compliance workflows, replacing manual evidence collection, Excel, and screenshots for audit teams. The compliance automation market is nascent but massive; the product that combines scale and trust will dominate. Join us early to co-create this category, not just build a feature.

The role is onsite in San Mateo, CA and the company does not provide any sponsorship or any visa transfers. Salary range is anywhere up to 250k, depending on experience.

What You’ll Do

• Work directly with customers (Fortune 500 companies) to help them save millions in audit fees by automating manual testing and evidence work
• Lead new verticals or modules from concept to launch, not just pieces of features
• Partner deeply with backend, data/ML, and design to bring ambitious workflows to life
• Shape standards, patterns, and engineering culture as we scale

What You Bring

• You’ve built something before, whether a startup, side project, or internal product and you know the scrappy grind
• 4+ years of software engineering, ideally with experience owning full features or
• Fluency with React / Next.js / TypeScript + Python
• Strong judgment, opinions, and the humility to course-correct
• High ownership mindset, ability to operate in ambiguity, and love for shipping early and often
