Job summary

River is hiring a senior software leader in New York to own a production-grade shipping software product and guide its roadmap. You will drive robust agent capabilities, ensure reliability for real users, and own the end-to-end delivery of features.

You will identify critical problems, propose effective fixes, and ship solutions that improve user outcomes. This role requires strong technical leadership and a track record of deploying impactful software in production.

• 3+ years shipping software with senior or founding ownership in production.
• Shipped agents that real people relied on, and be able to walk us through what broke.
• Built agent capabilities beyond off-the-shelf tools: tool use, memory, planning.
• You find the problem, propose the fix, and ship it.
