Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate (core content required).
• ESL certification is strongly encouraged for core content teachers.
• Texas Special Education certification is required for Special Education roles.
• DPS fingerprint clearance per Texas Education Code §22.0835 for all staff.

Responsibilities

• Engage in weekly coaching and bi-weekly professional development; implement steps and reflect on results.
• Collaborate in PLCs to align pacing, assessments, and student work analysis; share resources.
• Support campus duties and take accurate attendance.
• Communicate regularly with families about progress, behavior, attendance, and learning.
• Plan targeted reteach, small groups, and accelerated instruction; monitor progress.
