Job summary

GT School is seeking a Founder In Residence to design, validate, and scale a high-performance gifted school model, starting with a single prototype campus and expanding to a nationwide network, while continuing to build the virtual GT Anywhere program.

The role is a full-time contractor position with Crossover as Contractor of Record. You must be based in the U.S., have founder-level energy, AI-first mindset, and the ability to travel regularly to Austin—minimum one week per month.

Qualifications

• Built and scaled a high-impact venture from scratch with governance, revenue ownership, and growth expectations.
• Deep, personal understanding of gifted students—through family, professional experience, or lived reality.
• AI-first mentality: prioritizing AI as the default solution for problem-solving and scale.
• Proven ability to articulate a compelling vision and convert skeptics into believers.
• Based in the U.S., with ability to travel regularly to Austin (min. 1 week/month).
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.
