MaineHealth is seeking a Foundations Officer to build and manage strategic relationships with foundation partners and prospective funders, securing philanthropic support for local and system-wide priorities. The role identifies funding opportunities, aligns initiatives with funder interests, and develops compelling strategies and proposals to advance our mission-driven goals.

Working across the health system, the officer leads engagement efforts, oversees proposals and reporting, and coordinates

Qualifikationen

• Education: Bachelor's degree required.
• Experience: Minimum of three years of progressive philanthropy experience with foundations experience preferred.

• Develop and manage strategic relationships with foundation partners and prospective funders.
• Identify and qualify new funding opportunities aligned with organizational priorities.
• Create compelling funding strategies and proposals to advance mission-driven goals.
• Lead foundation engagement, manage proposal and reporting activities, and coordinate foundation-supported projects.
• Maintain accurate donor records and monitor fundraising progress; provide regular updates on pipeline activity and stewardship outcomes.
