Job summary

Urban Peak is seeking a Grants Manager to lead foundation and corporate grant activities, manage government funding with a consultant, and oversee the full lifecycle from prospect research to stewardship.

You will collaborate with the Development team, Compliance, Finance, and program staff to ensure accurate proposals and timely reporting, while advancing sustainable revenue growth for Urban Peak.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and at least three years in nonprofit development, grant writing, or related field.
• Proven success writing and managing foundation and government grants.
• Strong planning, coordination, and deadline management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to translate program content into proposals.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to work across departments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Director of Development to align funding with strategy.
• Write, edit, and submit grant proposals, LOIs, and reports for foundations, corporate funders, and select government opportunities.
• Manage a portfolio of funders with communication, stewardship, and renewals.
• Collaborate with Finance and other teams to monitor grant revenue and reporting.
• Lead proposal development and ensure timely deliverables and compliance.
