Teaching will cover foundational drawing, two- and three-dimensional design, digital creative technologies, and general education introductions to art, with emphasis on diverse backgrounds and pedagogy. MFA by 7/30/2027 required; one year teaching preferred.

Qualifications

MFA required by July 30, 2027.
Prior teaching experience in foundations or general education art courses is preferred.
Ability to design and implement foundational curriculum for diverse student cohorts.

Responsibilities

Teach a 4/4 course load including foundational drawing, two- and three-dimensional design, digital creative technologies, and intro art.
Engage students from diverse backgrounds and experiences in studio and critique settings.
Apply a range of pedagogies and resources, including technology in creative practice.
Participate in assessment of students, program, and department outcomes.
Stay current with contemporary art, design practices, and relevant tech developments; share with students.
